Pahoia School

 

Established in 1927, Pahoia is a rural school situated 20 km North of the city of Tauranga.  The school has a roll of 190 students in years 1 to 6. 

The school's mission statement is "Preparing Learners for Now and the Future". 

5 core values form the basis of all that is done and said at Pahoia school.  They are:

The school's current strategic plan features the goals of raising student achievement in Literacy and Numeracy, as well as embracing personalised learning.

Features of the school include: extensive use of information and communications technology (ICT) with interactive whiteboards in all classrooms, a heated swimming pool, nature area, multi prupose astroturf, a well resourced library and new tables and chairs in all classrooms.  A new school/community hall is near to completion.
